When you try to activate Windows 7 Enterprise you may receive the following error message:

“Activation Error: Code 0×8007232b
DNS Name does not exist”

This issue may occur if you use Windows 7 volume-licensed version downloaded from MSDN.

Steps to resolve this issue:

1. Click Start > Control Panel > System and Security > System
2. Scroll to the bottom to “Windows activation” and click “Change product key”.
3. Type the product key. Use the Volume License product key for Windows 7 that is provided with your agreement.
